Northwest Ohio Asthma Coalition
Our Mission:

Our mission is to improve the health and well being of people in Northwest Ohio living with asthma by increasing the public awareness of the prevalence and incidence of asthma.

This will be accomplished through assessment, educational intervention, advocacy, and collaboration.

The goal of the Coalition is to bridge the gap between health disparities through inclusion of all members of the population in this educational effort.

Furthermore, the Coalition seeks to bring together members of the healthcare team in a spirit of collaboration to provide optimum knowledge of asthma prevention and treatment for Northwest Ohio.

  Ways to Give
Goals:

To raise the community awareness and basic knowledge regarding Asthma throughout the Northwest.

To implement strategies that may improve care in Northwest Ohio through public awareness.

To develop a mechanism whereby healthcare providers may access the most current guidelines available in caring for families of Asthmatics, so as to insure that accurate knowledge is transferred to families.

Develop collaborative efforts among other groups interested in Asthma prevention to share ideas and stimulate research

To assure that all members of the community are included in the Asthma awareness effort. specifically those that are normally underserved.
